Karim Adeyemi 'not afraid' of Lamine Yamal competition at Barcelona

Karim Adeyemi, who recently completed his transfer to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund, is determined to secure a place in the starting lineup under manager Hansi Flick. The 24-year-old forward has made it clear that he feels no intimidation regarding competition with rising superstar Lamine Yamal.
Speaking during the club's pre-season training camp in the UK, the German attacker emphasized that his focus remains entirely on his own performance.

Adeyemi also reflected on the role of Hansi Flick in his move to the Camp Nou. He noted that the pair shared a strong professional relationship during their time with the German national team, making the decision to join the club seamless. For Adeyemi, playing for such a historic club under a manager he trusts was an opportunity he could not turn down.
The squad is currently undergoing an intensive training period in England. Barcelona is scheduled to face Birmingham City in a friendly match this Friday, where Adeyemi will be looking to make his first impression in a Barca shirt.
