Germany international Karim Adeyemi is currently in Barcelona awaiting the finalization of his transfer from Borussia Dortmund as the club prepares for his official announcement.

Karim Adeyemi is currently staying in Barcelona while awaiting the official confirmation of his move to the club. The 24-year-old German winger, expected to be Hansi Flick's second major reinforcement for the 2026-2027 campaign following Anthony Gordon, has already completed his medical examinations.
An agreement between the player and Barcelona was reached last week. The deal, valued at 22 million euros plus 7 million euros in potential add-ons, will see the forward sign a five-year contract with the Catalan side. Despite the agreement being in place, the official announcement has been delayed.
Adeyemi is currently stationed at a hotel frequently used by the club, awaiting administrative finalization. The delay is attributed to the club's busy agenda, specifically the recent return of president Joan Laporta from the World Cup final. Club officials have confirmed that the announcement will take place later this week.
Once finalized, Adeyemi will provide competition for Lamine Yamal on the right wing. Currently, the player remains unable to join group training sessions or use the club's facilities until his contracts are signed and he is officially registered.
