Italian giants Juventus are planning a January transfer move for Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri. The club is reportedly monitoring the Algerian's situation and has already made initial contact with his representatives to gauge his availability for a mid-season move to Turin.
Ait-Nouri has struggled to find regular football at the Etihad Stadium this season under manager Enzo Maresca. The full-back has been limited to just two appearances across all competitions, totaling only 105 minutes on the pitch. Despite his limited action, he has made an impact with three assists, including a contribution against FC Porto in the Champions League.
The player's decision to stay in Manchester last summer has not yielded the expected playing time, leaving his long-term future in England uncertain. Juventus, who have previously shown interest in the defender, are looking to bolster their defensive options for the second half of the campaign.
A loan deal with an option to buy is considered the most probable structure for the transfer. With the winter window approaching, Juventus are positioning themselves to test City's resolve, hoping to provide an escape route for the 23-year-old.
