Juventus has officially withdrawn from negotiations to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Despite recent talks that successfully narrowed the gap in financial demands, the two clubs ultimately failed to reach a final agreement.
Reports indicate that personal terms were not an issue for the player, but the clubs could not finalize the structure of the deal. The Turin side is now shifting focus toward other candidates to bolster their goalkeeping position, with Guglielmo Vicario emerging as a primary alternative.
Martinez had a busy season, making 44 appearances across all competitions, conceding 49 goals and keeping 13 clean sheets. He also served as the starting goalkeeper for Argentina during the 2026 World Cup, helping his team reach the final.
