Juventus and Bologna in talks over Lucumí and Koopmeiners

Juventus are looking to bolster their defensive options with Jhon Lucumí as a primary target. The club is reportedly ready to offer around €10 million plus a player to facilitate the move. While Juan Cabal was suggested as a makeweight, the possibility of a loan deal for midfielder Teun Koopmeiners has emerged as a particularly intriguing option.

Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori is very familiar with Koopmeiners, having brought him to Italy during his tenure at Atalanta. This historical connection makes the midfielder a player of interest for the Rossoblu, who are also reportedly monitoring the player's brother, Peer Koopmeiners.

Juventus remain open to parting ways with Teun Koopmeiners, but have yet to receive a satisfactory permanent offer. While there have been enquiries from the Premier League, none have developed into formal negotiations, and the player has shown little interest in moves to Turkey. His €4.5 million salary is a significant hurdle for Bologna, though a loan agreement with Juventus covering a portion of his wages could make the transfer more feasible.

Fabio Miretti has also been mentioned in discussions, but his inclusion in a deal for Lucumí currently appears unlikely. Negotiations remain ongoing as Juventus look for the right formula to overcome the financial stumbling block regarding the percentage owed to Genk for the transfer of Lucumí.
