Juve Stabia have officially confirmed the departure of head coach Ignazio Abate. The club and the manager have reached an agreement to terminate his contract by mutual consent.

The 39-year-old took charge of the team in the summer of 2025 and served for one season. Under his leadership, the club recorded 12 wins, 19 draws, and 11 defeats in 42 matches.

During his tenure, Juve Stabia qualified for the Serie A promotion playoffs for the second year in a row, but they were eliminated in the final stage after a loss to Monza.

Abate's exit comes amid reports linking him to the vacant head coach position at Torino, with the Serie A side reportedly considering him as a candidate.
