Mikel Arteta has confirmed that defender Jurrien Timber is available to start the Champions League final against PSG following his recovery from a groin injury.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Dutch defender Jurrien Timber is fit to start Saturday's Champions League final against PSG.
Timber has been sidelined since March after sustaining a groin injury during a win against Everton. His return is a significant boost for Arteta, who faced a defensive dilemma with fellow right-back Ben White ruled out by a knee ligament injury. Throughout the campaign, the position has been filled by Cristhian Mosquera, Martin Zubimendi, and Declan Rice.
Arteta also delivered positive news regarding Noni Madueke, who is available for selection despite recent hamstring concerns. The manager dismissed the notion that Arsenal's recent Premier League title success would diminish their hunger for the European trophy.
