Olympique Lyonnais has officially confirmed the signing of their third summer recruit. Belgian winger Julien Duranville has joined the French club from German side Borussia Dortmund.
The player has signed a permanent contract spanning the next five seasons. The deal is valued at €5 million, reflecting Lyon's ongoing focus on maintaining financial discipline while strengthening the squad.
Duranville arrives to help bolster the attacking options following the departure of Afonso Moreira to Bayer Leverkusen. He joins other recent recruits, such as Mads Bidstrup and Kaïl Boudache, as part of Lyon's rapid squad development ahead of the upcoming season.
The club is prioritizing these additions to ensure they are well-prepared for their upcoming 3rd qualifying round match in the Champions League. With preseason training already underway, Lyon is scheduled to play their first friendly match against Mâcon 71 on July 8.
