Jorge Sánchez joins Atlas for Apertura 2026

Atlas FC has officially confirmed the signing of right-back Jorge Sánchez. The 28-year-old joins the team immediately ahead of the Apertura 2026 tournament, following his participation with the Mexican national team in the recent World Cup.
Sánchez arrives with a decorated international background, having played for clubs such as Ajax, FC Porto, and PAOK, as well as domestic sides Club América, Cruz Azul, and Santos Laguna. His resume includes titles in Liga MX, the Portuguese Cup, and various CONCACAF competitions.
