John Stones completes move to Inter Milan
England international John Stones has finalised a free transfer to Inter Milan following the expiration of his Manchester City contract.

England star John Stones has officially finalised a move to Italian champions Inter Milan. The deal was completed after the defender became a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Manchester City on June 30.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the deal is sealed with all terms agreed. Stones has committed to a contract running until June 2028, with no option for a further year, and will earn a net salary of approximately 4 million euros per season. The defender is scheduled to undergo his medical examination in Milan shortly.
The move sees Stones reunite with his former Manchester City team-mate Manuel Akanji, who joined Inter permanently following his loan spell during the 2025-2026 season.
Inter have been proactive this summer, continuing to bolster their squad as they prepare to defend their Serie A title. In addition to Stones, the Italian side has recently secured the signings of Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic and goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.
