Jadson to participate in Vagner Love's farewell match in Moscow

Former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Jadson is set to participate in the farewell match for ex-CSKA Moscow forward Vagner Love. The event is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at the VEB Arena in Moscow, with the Russian club officially confirming the Brazilian's involvement.

Jadson will play for the 'Vagner Love Friends' team alongside former Lokomotiv goalkeeper Guilherme and ex-Brazil international Renato Augusto. They are set to face a team of 'CSKA Legends', which already includes players such as Elvir Rahimić, Dmitry Kuznetsov, the Berezutskiy brothers, Miloš Krasić, Zoran Tošić, and Mark González.

Jadson is remembered as one of the most successful foreign players in Shakhtar Donetsk's history, having played for the club from 2005 to 2012. His most iconic moment remains the winning goal against Werder Bremen in the 2008/09 UEFA Cup final, which secured the club's first European trophy. During his time in Ukraine, he made 272 appearances and scored 64 goals.
