Italy star Giacomo Raspadori officially withdraws from Nations League squad
Atalanta forward Giacomo Raspadori has left Italy's camp after suffering an injury during their Nations League win against Turkey.

Giacomo Raspadori has prematurely ended his international duties with the Italy squad. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) confirmed on Tuesday that the Atalanta forward will return to his club after medical assessments revealed he is not in a physical condition to participate in the upcoming Nations League fixtures.
Raspadori sustained the injury during Italy's 4-1 victory over Turkey, where he was forced to leave the pitch at halftime. His departure follows the earlier exit of Nicolo Zaniolo, further depleting Roberto Mancini's options for the remainder of the international break.
Giacomo Raspadori, meanwhile, was given complete rest. The Atalanta forward underwent medical tests and, after it was confirmed that he will be unavailable for the upcoming matches, will return to his club. Italian Football Federation
This outcome sidelines the forward for the highly anticipated clash against France at the Stade de France this Friday, as well as the home fixture against Turkey in Bologna on October 5.
Preparation continues at the Coverciano base, where Mancini is managing squad workloads. While starters from the Turkey match focus on recovery, fringe players are undergoing intensive tactical drills at Fiorentina’s Viola Park. The coaching staff must now decide whether to call up a replacement or rely on the depth of the current roster to maintain Italy's attacking efficiency.
