Inter Milan have significantly slowed down negotiations for Udinese defender Oumar Solet. Reports suggest that financial disagreements and medical concerns have cooled the club's interest in the 26-year-old Frenchman.

Inter were prepared to offer around €20 million for the player, but Udinese are holding out for at least €30 million. The Milanese club considers this figure excessive, especially given that Solet could leave the club for free next summer.

Beyond the financial hurdles, there are medical doubts. Inter are reportedly wary of the defender's history with chronic knee issues, leading to hesitation regarding a potential investment.

The situation remains fluid as Como are also showing interest in the player. Both clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah as an alternative, though the London side values him at approximately €40 million.
