Inhulets captain Stanislav-Nuri Malysh is nearing a departure from the club at the end of the current season. The 31-year-old central defender confirmed that he is not currently engaged in negotiations to extend his contract, which is set to expire on June 30.
The player stated that he has not agreed on new terms and intends to consider various options for his future. Malysh assessed the likelihood of remaining with the Petrove-based club at less than 50 percent.
During the current campaign, the defender has made 30 appearances across all competitions, contributing 4 goals and 2 assists. With two rounds left in the First League, the team led by Vasyl Kobin sits in fifth place, having all but lost their chance to contend for a promotion playoff spot.
The upcoming away match against Chernihiv could mark a milestone for Malysh, representing his 100th appearance in the First League. His departure follows news that left-back Vitaliy Katrych is also set to leave Inhulets to join Kolos Kovalivka.
