Hull City have registered their interest in signing Stade de Reims winger Keito Nakamura. The 26-year-old Japan international emerged as one of the standout performers at the recent World Cup, where he established himself as the team's first-choice left winger.

The player is currently valued at £21.5m by the French second-tier side, a figure that has previously deterred suitors including Everton, Bournemouth, and Fulham. Despite the high asking price, Nakamura remains keen to secure a move to the Premier League.

Nakamura is eager to leave France after spending last season in the second division following Reims' relegation. Although clubs like Spain's Villarreal and Turkish giants Besiktas showed interest last summer with offers reaching £15.5m, a deal did not materialise. The forward finished the 2024-25 campaign with 11 goals in 32 league appearances.

Hull City have been active in the transfer market, having signed 11 players including fellow Japan international Hidemasa Morita as part of their £76m spending spree following their return to the top flight. Nakamura’s pace, finishing ability, and international pedigree make him an attractive target for the Tigers as they look to solidify their Premier League status.
