Harry Kane close to signing new Bayern Munich contract
The English striker plans to stay in Munich despite interest from Barcelona and Al-Hilal.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is in the final stages of negotiations to extend his contract with the club. Reports indicate that the 32-year-old forward is settled in Germany and has no intentions of leaving in the near future.
Successful talks between the two parties have largely quieted speculation regarding the Englishman's future. Barcelona had previously monitored the player's situation as they sought to bolster their attack, but the Spanish club acknowledged that Kane is content with his current role in Munich.
Additionally, Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal showed interest this summer. However, the forward preferred to continue his career at the highest level of European football.
Kane enjoyed a prolific campaign last season, netting 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches and playing a pivotal role in Bayern's championship success.
A new deal would effectively end discussions surrounding a potential return to the English Premier League. This decision leaves Kane some 47 goals short of overtaking Alan Shearer's all-time league scoring record, a milestone he may now leave untouched.
