Germany Set to Appoint Jurgen Klopp as New Head Coach
The German Football Association is preparing to announce Jurgen Klopp as the new national team head coach on Friday, with a contract running until the 2030 World Cup.

All eyes will be on Frankfurt this Friday as the German Football Association prepares to officially name Jurgen Klopp as the new head coach of the national team. Klopp is set to succeed Julian Nagelsmann at the helm of the 'Mannschaft'.
Following final committee approvals on Friday morning, the association will hold a press conference featuring Klopp alongside President Bernd Neuendorf, sporting director Rudi Voller, and spokesperson Franziska Wülle. This marks a significant return to the dugout for the former Liverpool manager.
Klopp is bringing a familiar support team to his new role. Long-time assistant Peter Krawietz will join him, along with Dutchman Pep Lijnders, who previously worked under Klopp at Anfield. The coaching staff will also include former Borussia Dortmund player Sven Bender.
The appointment comes with a vision for the future, as Klopp has agreed to a contract that runs through the 2030 World Cup. To facilitate his departure from his role as Red Bull's global head of football, the German association will make a one-million-euro donation to the 'Wings for Life' foundation.
