Galatasaray has decided to retain center-back Davinson Sánchez regardless of the financial offers presented. Despite strong interest from Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Como, the Turkish side is not prepared to let the Colombian international leave.

Sánchez impressed during the 2026 World Cup, where he helped the Colombian national team concede only one goal throughout the tournament. His current contract runs until 2029 with an annual salary of €4.5 million, and the club's board has officially turned down recent approaches for the defender.

With a move for Sánchez deemed unlikely, Inter Milan is now shifting focus to reinforce their defense with another Colombian option. The club is reportedly targeting Jhon Lucumí, the left-footed center-back currently playing for Bologna. Inter is expected to face competition from Juventus for his signature.
