Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr is nearing a potential exit from the London club. The 23-year-old Senegalese international, who faces uncertainty regarding his starting role under new manager Roberto De Zerbi, has opted to seek a new challenge.
Galatasaray has emerged as the most active suitor. The Turkish club has successfully concluded several rounds of talks with the player's representatives, resulting in an agreed contract worth 5 million euros per season.
Reaching a deal with Tottenham is expected to be more difficult. The Londoners are holding out for a 30 million euro transfer fee, while Galatasaray has currently tabled an offer of 25 million euros—comprising 20 million guaranteed and 5 million in performance-related bonuses.
Last season, Sarr featured in 37 matches, contributing two goals and four assists.
