Gabriel Martinelli will not join Galatasaray
Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is not moving to Turkey this summer, with reports of a transfer to Galatasaray described as baseless.

Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli is set to remain at his current club. Despite various media reports suggesting a potential move to Turkish side Galatasaray, these rumors have been confirmed as entirely baseless.
According to The Athletic, there is no agreement between the clubs, nor have there been any discussions regarding personal terms. The Brazilian winger is not considering a move to the Turkish league this summer, and the proposed deal is officially dismissed.
Last season, Martinelli made 53 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists. He also featured in four matches at the 2026 World Cup, where he managed to score once.
Currently, the player is focused on preparing for the FA Community Shield match against Manchester City, scheduled for July 16.
