Fulham complete signing of midfielder Shay Charles
The Northern Ireland international has signed a long-term deal with the London club until 2031.

Fulham have officially strengthened their squad with the signing of 22-year-old defensive midfielder Shay Charles. The Northern Ireland international has penned a long-term deal at the London club running until the summer of 2031, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. He will wear the number 19 shirt for his new side.
The midfielder spent the 2025/26 season with Southampton, where he featured in 33 Championship matches and scored 4 goals. According to unconfirmed reports, the Saints received a fee of approximately £30 million for the player.
Charles becomes the third addition to the Cottagers' squad this transfer window. He follows the arrival of two young talents from Madrid: striker Gonzalo Garcia and midfielder Cesar Palacios.
