Lviv's Karpaty secured a solid 2-0 victory over Kolos in the sixth round of the Ukrainian Premier League. After the match, forward Francisco Fernandez shared his thoughts on the team's performance and the physical nature of the game.
"It was a very difficult game, as there were many physical contacts and duels. We managed to keep a cool head because the opponent constantly tried to impose their style and disrupt our rhythm," said the player.
For me, the most important thing is that the ball ends up in the net. It doesn't matter if it's a beautiful goal or not. The main thing is to score and help the team. Francisco Fernandez
Fernandez noted that the previous loss to Shakhtar, during which he made a costly turnover, served as a learning experience. "I didn't have a special desire to prove anything because of the Shakhtar match. I told myself that every game is a separate story. Therefore, I must be ready, energized, and fully focused in every game," he added.
The forward emphasized that the team remains focused on their preparation for upcoming challenges, including the next league encounter against Veres.
