Fiorentina signs Juventus defender Joao Mario on loan
Fiorentina has secured Juventus defender Joao Mario on a loan deal running until 2027, including an option to make the move permanent.

Juventus has officially confirmed the loan move of defender Joao Mario to Fiorentina. The agreement is set to run until June 30, 2027.
The loan deal costs Fiorentina 1.8 million euros, payable over one financial year. The contract also includes an option for a permanent transfer. Should the Italian club decide to trigger this clause, they will have to pay Juventus an additional 9.5 million euros, payable in installments over three financial years.
Joao Mario joined Juventus in the summer of 2025 following a transfer from Porto. The 26-year-old Portuguese defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Bologna and will now continue his career at Fiorentina.
