Dusan Vlahovic has agreed to join Besiktas as a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired earlier this summer. The Turkish club confirmed on Tuesday that they are in negotiations to sign the 26-year-old Serbian striker.
Vlahovic leaves Turin after a four-and-a-half-season spell during which he scored 68 goals. His final season at the club was hindered by fitness issues, including a three-month absence due to an adductor injury, which restricted him to just 23 appearances.
Before his 2022 move to Juventus, which was valued at €75 million, Vlahovic enjoyed a prolific period at Fiorentina, recording 49 goals in 108 games. He has also remained a key figure for the Serbia national team, scoring 16 times in 41 appearances.
The move to Istanbul follows a growing trend of high-profile players opting for the Turkish Super Lig. Other notable recent arrivals include Romelu Lukaku and Mason Greenwood at Fenerbahce, alongside Mohamed Salah joining Trabzonspor.
