Davide Ancelotti set to take charge at Lille
Davide Ancelotti is poised to replace Bruno Genesio as the new head coach of Lille. The French club confirmed the departure of the outgoing manager on Monday.

French side Lille are set for a coaching transition. On Monday, it was confirmed that the club would not extend the contract of head coach Bruno Genesio. Under Genesio, the team secured a third-place finish in Ligue 1, earning a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League league phase.
The new head coach of the 'Dogues' will be Davide Ancelotti, son of the renowned manager Carlo Ancelotti. An agreement between the Italian coach and the club is already in place.
This will be Davide's second role as a first-team head coach, following a stint at Botafogo last year. Prior to his time in Brazil, he served as a long-term assistant to his father.
