Colombian starlet Cristian Orozco is set to finalise his long-awaited transfer to Manchester United. The deal was initially brokered last year, but the move was intentionally delayed until the player reached his eligibility milestone this summer.

According to journalist Pipe Sierra, the midfielder has arrived in the United Kingdom to complete the move. He is being accompanied by United’s lead scout in South America, Giuseppe Antonaccio, highlighting the club's commitment to the prospect's development.

Medical examinations are scheduled immediately, with an official announcement planned for July 13, the player's 18th birthday. Once registered, Orozco is expected to join the Under-21s squad managed by Adam Lawrence, beginning with their pre-season tour in Germany.

Reports suggest United officials have opted to keep the teenager at Carrington for the upcoming campaign rather than sending him on loan. The club intends to oversee his physical acclimatisation personally, following a developmental path previously used for other young talents.

Meanwhile, the senior team continues its midfield restructuring. With veteran Casemiro set to depart for Inter Miami, United remains in active discussions regarding a potential move for West Ham's Mateus Fernandes.
