Premier League club Coventry City has officially announced the signing of winger Burnley's Loum Tchaouna. While the clubs did not disclose the official fee, reports indicate the deal is worth approximately 20 million pounds. The 22-year-old French footballer has committed to a long-term five-year contract.

Tchaouna moved to Burnley last summer from Italian side Lazio. During his campaign with the Clarets, he made 32 appearances and scored three goals, though the club ultimately suffered relegation from the top flight. Despite his age, Tchaouna brings experience from Ligue 1, Serie A, and the French youth national team setup.

I am so happy to start this new season in the Premier League. I feel good and I am ready for the challenge. I am going to bring my energy, determination and leadership qualities to the team. Loum Tchaouna

This signing marks a significant move for Coventry City as they prepare for their return to the top flight after winning the Championship. Their Premier League campaign is set to begin on August 21 with a challenging fixture against Arsenal in London.
