Premier League club Coventry City have announced the signing of 22-year-old French winger Loum Tchaouna from Burnley. The player joins the Sky Blues following Burnley's relegation from the top flight last season.
Tchaouna has committed to a five-year contract with the club. While the official fee remains undisclosed, reports value the transfer at approximately £20 million.
I'm so excited to start this new season in the Premier League, I'm feeling good and ready for the challenge. I'm going to bring my energy, determination and leadership to the team. Loum Tchaouna
During his spell at Burnley last season, Tchaouna made 32 appearances and scored three goals. His career path includes development at Rennes and stints in Italy with Salernitana and Lazio.
The club hopes the young winger will add significant depth to their squad as they prepare for the upcoming campaign. Coventry City open their league season on 21 August with a match against Arsenal.
