Club legend Jose Luis Morales leaves Levante after 15 years
Spanish forward Jose Luis Morales is departing Levante after a 15-year tenure, leaving as the club's record holder for appearances and all-time leading goalscorer.
Levante have officially announced that forward Jose Luis Morales will depart the club following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. Both parties have reached a mutual agreement not to extend his contract, which expires on June 30, 2026.
Morales has been with the Valencian side since 2011, when he arrived as a free agent from Fuenlabrada. Over the course of 15 years, he became a true icon for the team, setting long-standing records that define his legacy at the club.
The 38-year-old Spaniard leaves having made 377 appearances, cementing his status as the club's all-time record holder for matches played. In addition to his longevity, Morales proved to be the most prolific scorer in the club's history with 83 goals, alongside 49 assists.
The club has confirmed that they are preparing special farewell events to honor one of the most significant figures in their history. This departure marks the end of an era for the supporters, as Morales remained a central pillar of the squad for over a decade.
