Club Brugge crowned Belgian champions and secure Champions League spot

The Belgian league season concluded with the crowning of the new champions. In the final round of the campaign, Club Brugge showcased their dominance by defeating Gent 5-0. This result secured the top spot and a direct qualification to the Champions League group stage.
Goals from Forbes, Tsolis, and a hat-trick from Tresoldi sealed the victory for the new champions. Club Brugge finished with 57 points, four points ahead of their closest rivals Union Saint-Gilloise.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forward Danylo Sikan started for Anderlecht in their match against Union Saint-Gilloise. The forward played 55 minutes, but his side suffered a 1-5 defeat.
In the final standings of the championship group, Club Brugge led with 57 points, followed by Union Saint-Gilloise (53) and Sint-Truiden (43). Anderlecht finished in fourth place with 33 points.
