Christos Tzolis made an immediate impact in his competitive Arsenal debut, playing a pivotal role in the team's dominant 3-0 victory over Manchester City. The winger, who joined for £34 million, proved to be a significant addition to Mikel Arteta's squad.
Tzolis created the second goal with a header back to Kai Havertz, who found the net past Gianluigi Donnarumma. He later provided the pass for Martin Odegaard’s third goal, which featured an impressive dummy shot from the captain. Tzolis was a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes, creating two big chances and delivering three key passes.

Manager Mikel Arteta expressed his satisfaction with the new signing, praising his adaptation to the team and his chemistry with the players. "I think you're going to love the player," Arteta noted.
The result marked a difficult start for Enzo Maresca in his first official match as Manchester City manager. With the league season approaching, City faces significant work, while Arsenal looks to build on this momentum for their title defence.
