Chornomorets parts ways with eight players, Astakhov extends with Livyi Bereh

Chornomorets Odesa has officially announced a major squad overhaul, parting ways with eight first-team players. The list of departures includes defenders Vitaliy Yermakov, Oleksandr Kaplienko, and Yuriy Romanyuk; midfielders Oleksandr Sklyar, Maksym Lunyov, and Artem Habelok; and forwards Oleksiy Khoblenko and Vladyslav Kulach.
Among those departing, Oleksandr Sklyar recorded the most appearances last season with 29 matches, contributing two goals and four assists. Vitaliy Yermakov featured in 26 games, scoring three times with one assist, while Oleksiy Khoblenko netted six goals in 16 appearances.
In other news involving UPL clubs, Livyi Bereh has secured the future of defender Ernest Astakhov. The 27-year-old has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027. Astakhov has been with the team since 2023 and has accumulated 56 appearances.
