Central midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has effectively become an Arsenal player, although the London club has not yet officially confirmed the transfer. According to Diario AS, the Brazilian has already held his first training session with his new teammates.
The move remains publicly unconfirmed due to specific bureaucratic procedures that both clubs must complete before the deal is finalized. It is expected that once these formalities are cleared, Arsenal will officially announce the signing of the midfielder shortly.
Arsenal has agreed with Newcastle on a transfer fee of 75 million pounds. The 28-year-old is set to be one of Mikel Arteta's key acquisitions ahead of the new season.
Guimaraes had been at Newcastle since January 2022 following his arrival from Lyon. During his time there, he became a team captain, a central figure in midfield, and established himself as a key player for the Brazil national team.
