Istanbul side Besiktas has officially announced the signing of defensive midfielder Salih Ozcan. The 28-year-old Turkish international joins the club as a free agent.
The agreement between the parties is structured as a 3+1 year deal. Ozcan spent the last four years at Borussia Dortmund, though he spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Wolfsburg, where he made 12 appearances. During his time with the German club, Ozcan played 96 matches and provided two assists.
He also brings significant experience from his national team, having recorded one goal and one assist in 32 appearances for Turkey. Recall that it was previously reported that Besiktas confirmed the transfer of a Bayern player.
