BBC has secured a deal to broadcast 38 live matches from Italy's Serie A throughout the current season. The agreement permits the coverage of one match per round of league fixtures.
The broadcast schedule begins this Sunday with Atalanta v Sassuolo, available on BBC ALBA and iPlayer from 19:35 BST. BBC ALBA will air 19 live games featuring Gaelic and English co-commentary, while BBC Sport will stream the remaining 19 matches live on BBC iPlayer with English commentary.
The league features a significant number of Scottish players this season. Former Hibernian duo Kieron Bowie and Josh Doig are set to feature for Sassuolo. Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay remains a prominent figure, while his club teammate Billy Gilmour is returning from a knee injury and looking to cement his place under new manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Other Scottish representatives include Bologna's Lewis Ferguson, Torino striker Che Adams, and Udinese teenager Lennon Miller. Meanwhile, the Italian league also hosts several England internationals, including Inter Milan's Djed Spence and John Stones, AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and new Cagliari midfielder Harry Winks.
This deal adds to the existing European football portfolio at BBC Sport, which currently includes highlights from the Bundesliga and La Liga.
