Following the collapse of their move for Anthony Gordon, who chose to join Barcelona, Bayern Munich have shifted their attention to PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ismael Saibari. Talks are reportedly gathering pace as the German giants look to bolster their attacking options.

According to reports, Bayern have submitted a formal written offer to the player and his representatives. The Moroccan international is said to be keen on the move, while PSV are fully aware of the interest and are prepared to demand a fee potentially exceeding 60 million euros.

Bayern Munich are prioritising a versatile forward who can operate on the wings or as a number ten to provide cover for Harry Kane. Saibari’s performance in the Champions League—including a goal against Bayern—made a lasting impression on the club's hierarchy, including sporting director Max Eberl.

While the club operates under strict financial limits, they are nearing revenue from the sale of Joao Palhinha. The midfielder, who was on loan at Tottenham Hotspur last season, now reportedly favors a permanent stay in London, with Spurs holding a buy-option valued at approximately 30 million euros.

The race for Saibari remains competitive, with links to other European clubs. Bayern face a potential price hike should the midfielder impress at the upcoming World Cup, adding pressure to finalize negotiations early.
