According to TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich has significantly altered its transfer strategy regarding the goalkeeper position. The club is no longer pursuing Jordan Pickford from Everton, as interest in the England international has cooled.
The Munich side has shifted its focus toward internal development, viewing Jonas Urbig as a strong candidate to eventually succeed Manuel Neuer. Instead of a high-profile signing, the club is now prioritizing finding a reliable backup goalkeeper capable of providing squad depth and competition.
Everton, meanwhile, has no intention of selling their first-choice goalkeeper. Pickford remains happy at the Merseyside club and is committed to his current contract, which runs until 2029.
