Barcelona have secured the signing of Brazilian international forward Kerolin from Women's Super League champions Manchester City. The 26-year-old has committed to a contract running through to 2030.

Kerolin played a vital part in Manchester City's successful campaign last season, helping the side secure their first WSL title in a decade alongside a Women's FA Cup victory. She impressed with nine goals and five assists in 15 WSL appearances, highlighted by a standout hat-trick against Chelsea in February.

Reports indicate that the transfer fee is approximately £1.3m, marking it as the largest fee ever paid for a female Brazilian player. Kerolin had joined City from North Carolina Courage in January 2025.

The move is seen as a strategic addition for European champions Barcelona, who are looking to bolster their attacking line following the departure of Salma Parraluelo to Lyon. Meanwhile, Manchester City have moved to reinforce their squad this summer with the arrival of England international Beth Mead.
