Barcelona are in advanced negotiations regarding a new contract for Brian Farinas. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, the parties are discussing a five-year agreement that would keep the midfielder at the club until 2031.
The 20-year-old was promoted to the first team this season. The club has shown its confidence in the player by handing him the number four shirt, previously worn by Ronald Araujo.
Barcelona view Farinas as an essential part of their future plans. While the deal is not yet finalized, negotiations are progressing well, and an agreement is expected to be reached soon.
