Barcelona officially sign Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu

Barcelona have confirmed the permanent signing of 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu. The teenager joins from Club Brugge on a contract that will run until 30 June 2031.

Regarded as one of Belgium's brightest young prospects, Bisiwu is known for his pace, strength, and dribbling ability. His development path included time at Leuven before moving to the Club Brugge academy in 2020. Over the past two seasons, he gained experience in the UEFA Youth League and made 36 appearances for Club NXT, the club's reserve side in the Belgian second division.

The winger earned significant attention following his performances at the 2025 European Under-17 Championship, where he helped lead Belgium to the semi-finals and earned a spot in the team of the tournament. His arrival is seen as a long-term investment in Barcelona's attacking options.

Bisiwu becomes the third Belgian to join the Barcelona first team, following in the footsteps of Thomas Vermaelen and Jan Goijvaerts. The club is expected to hold an official presentation at their headquarters in the coming days.
