Barcelona demand €40m for Marc Casado as Al-Hilal circle
Barcelona have rejected an initial offer from Al-Hilal for Marc Casado, with the club holding out for a fee closer to €40 million.

The long-term future of Marc Casado at Barcelona remains uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches its final stages. Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have formally expressed interest in the 22-year-old midfielder, though their initial approach in July was swiftly rejected by the Catalan giants.
The primary obstacle preventing a deal is a significant valuation gap. Barcelona are standing firm, demanding a package that could reach €40 million for their academy graduate. In contrast, Al-Hilal are currently unwilling to meet those steep economic demands, leaving negotiations at a frustrating standstill.
Despite the deadlock between the clubs, personal talks between Casado and the Saudi outfit are reportedly well-advanced, with strong harmony between both parties. However, until a common ground is found, the move remains far from completion.
While Al-Hilal remains the only club to have submitted a concrete proposal, Casado's situation is being closely monitored by several top European teams. The midfielder has generated interest from the Premier League, Serie A, and the Bundesliga, with the player reportedly favouring a move to a European league. With no formal offers from these suitors, Al-Hilal must now decide whether to increase their bid to secure the Spaniard's signature.
