Barcelona boosts revenue through new long-term VIP licenses at Spotify Camp Nou

Barcelona introduces a new long-term individual licensing model for VIP seats, securing 380 million euros in committed revenue.

FC Barcelona is doubling down on its strategy to use the new Spotify Camp Nou as the primary economic engine for the club's future. The board of directors has identified the stadium's hospitality and VIP model as a crucial lever for long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

The club has announced that nearly 5,000 VIP seats have already been marketed, securing over 380 million euros in committed revenue through various contract lengths. This progress highlights the strong market appetite for the revamped stadium experience.

In partnership with Legends Global, Barcelona is now launching a new individual licensing model. This allows clients to purchase exclusive rights to a VIP seat for either 15 or 30 years via an initial down payment. The club is putting approximately 2,000 remaining VIP spots onto the market under this specific format.

Once completed, the new Spotify Camp Nou will feature approximately 9,400 VIP and hospitality seats, more than tripling the capacity of the previous stadium. Through this new licensing strategy alone, the club projects an additional 700 million euros in revenue over the next 15 to 30 years.
