Barcelona and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. The Turkish club has accepted the offer from the Catalan side, with the deal valued at four million euros. Both parties are now finalizing the necessary legal documentation to complete the move.
Despite the agreement, the 31-year-old Croatian goalkeeper will not join the Barcelona squad immediately. The club plans to loan him out for one season, with a return to the Catalan roster expected in the summer of 2027.
Barcelona views the Croatian as a long-term potential replacement for Wojciech Szczesny. Additionally, he is expected to provide competition for teammate Joan Garcia.
