Aston Villa makes €70m bid for Nicolas Jackson

Aston Villa has made an official offer to Chelsea to sign forward Nicolas Jackson. According to journalist Santi Aouna, the Birmingham club has bid €70 million for the 25-year-old Senegalese international.

Chelsea is close to agreeing to the deal and letting the player leave. The London side currently has several options for the center-forward position, making them open to considering a lucrative bid for Jackson amid heavy competition for a starting spot.

While the clubs are nearing an understanding, Aston Villa must still reach an agreement with Jackson's representatives regarding personal terms. The forward spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the German club opted not to make the move permanent.
