The sixth round of the Polish Ekstraklasa was marked by incredible goal-scoring figures and dramatic late-game finishes. Across nine matches, a total of 28 goals were scored, with Sunday’s action providing a massive 17 goals in just three games.

For Ukrainian football followers, the highlight was Lechia’s performance. The team secured their second straight win, defeating Polonia 4:2 away from home. Artur Shakh was once again the hero, scoring the winning goal in his second consecutive game, which earned him a spot in the team of the week.

Yegor Matsenko of Śląsk also delivered a standout performance. Playing as a right-sided central defender, he earned high ratings (7.5–7.7) and won every single duel he contested. Unfortunately, his match was cut short by an injury in the 82nd minute, and Śląsk conceded a late equalizer shortly after he left the pitch.

Elsewhere, Taras Romanczuk of Jagiellonia and Vladyslav Kochergin of Raków put in strong shifts in midfield. Kochergin registered an assist in Raków’s high-scoring encounter. Meanwhile, despite Górnik’s defeat, Maksym Khlan received positive marks for his attacking threat, which reportedly drew the attention of scouts from Italian Serie A clubs.
