Artem Fedetskyi recalls clash with Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Former Ukraine defender Artem Fedetskyi has shared memories of a heated confrontation with legendary Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The incident occurred during a friendly tournament in Cyprus in early 2011, when the two teams faced each other.

During a set-piece situation in the second half, Fedetskyi attempted to mark the striker and prevent him from finding space. Ibrahimovic reacted physically, grabbing the defender by the back of his head, which led to a brief skirmish between the two.

Fedetskyi recalled that the Swedish star referenced his time at Barcelona, where he had played alongside Ukrainian defender Dmytro Chyhrynskyi. According to Fedetskyi, Ibrahimovic told him, "I said to Chyhrynskyi, and Chyhrynskyi will kill you."

Despite the intensity of the moment, Fedetskyi expressed deep respect for Ibrahimovic, describing him as a world-class striker with incredible charisma and top-tier talent.
