Arsenal have confirmed the signing of England midfielder Georgia Stanway from Bayern Munich. The 27-year-old moves to London following a four-year tenure in Germany, during which she secured eight trophies.

Before her time in Bavaria, Stanway enjoyed a successful period with Manchester City, winning the WSL title along with three FA Cups and three League Cups. Her international record is impressive, with 33 goals in 93 appearances and key contributions to England's historic European Championship victories in 2022 and 2025.

"It's an unbelievable feeling and I'm so proud to be joining Arsenal. This is a massive club that is driving the women's game forward to new levels and I want to be a part of it," said Georgia Stanway.

Arsenal coach Renee Slegers expressed her excitement regarding the new arrival, highlighting that Stanway will bring experience and a winning mentality to the squad's midfield setup. The club is currently preparing for a demanding upcoming campaign.
