Arsenal enjoyed a perfect start to their 2026/27 Premier League season, securing a dominant 3-0 victory over Coventry at home. Mikel Arteta's side controlled the tempo from the opening whistle and capitalized on their dominance early on.
Kai Havertz broke the deadlock in the 15th minute with a clinical strike from outside the box. The lead was doubled just eight minutes later when Bukayo Saka reacted quickest to a rebound following a save from the Coventry goalkeeper.
Martin Odegaard completed the scoring early in the second half, finishing off a precise delivery from Ben White to make it 3-0.
The win marks an emphatic beginning for the Gunners as they look to build momentum in the new campaign. With this performance, Arsenal demonstrated both attacking efficiency and defensive stability in their first outing of the season.
