Arsenal's new player Axel Dontchev passes medical

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of a promising young talent. 16-year-old Cardiff City midfielder Axel Dontchev has reportedly passed his medical examination and is preparing to finalize his move to the London club this week.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the teenager has cleared the necessary medical checks ahead of signing his contract.
Dontchev made club history in October 2025 when he became the youngest player ever to feature for Cardiff City at the age of 15 years and 234 days during an EFL Trophy appearance.
The midfielder, who holds Polish and Bulgarian heritage, has already represented Wales at the youth international level.
