Arsenal have renewed negotiations with representatives of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo regarding a potential transfer, according to TeamTalk.

The 25-year-old is currently undergoing rehabilitation following an ACL tear sustained in March during a match against Getafe. While Rodrygo has started running, his return timeline remains a point of discussion; the player hopes to return before Christmas, but the club's medical staff is reportedly looking at a return in early next year.

The Gunners have tracked the Brazilian for some time, viewing him as a primary target even before his injury. Throughout the summer, Arsenal maintained contact with Real Madrid after failed attempts to secure Vinícius Júnior and Endrick.

With Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli leaving the squad, Arsenal only managed to sign Christos Tzolis to bolster the left-wing position during the summer window, leaving the door open for further recruitment.
